{"id":866,"date":"2018-12-22T16:00:58","date_gmt":"2018-12-22T15:00:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.skabra.no\/?p=866"},"modified":"2018-12-22T16:02:18","modified_gmt":"2018-12-22T15:02:18","slug":"866","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.skabra.no\/?p=866","title":{"rendered":"Update from CEPA&#8217;s Secretariat"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Dear members,<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The year 2018 has been revolutionary\u00a0for CEPA, all our objectives and goals were accomplished, many relevant Institutional\u00a0actors are now\u00a0aware of our positions and vision for the future, and the Secretariat is at its full operational capacity.\u00a0Against this background, we would like to provide you with some key updates regarding\u00a0our plan for 2019\u00a0as well as to\u00a0give you an overview of the milestones that lie ahead of us.<\/p>\n<p><strong>CEPA&#8217;s new office<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>As of 1st\u00a0January 2019, CEPA will have a brand new headquarter located at the heart of the European district, namely the prestigious\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/belliard40.be\/home\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?q=http:\/\/belliard40.be\/home&amp;source=gmail&amp;ust=1545498553816000&amp;usg=AFQjCNHzprt6r-_DauegTOXIJG12EqJMvg\">Belliard 40<\/a>\u00a0building.\u00a0Belliard 40 is located in the city\u2019s most concentrated assemblage of EU Institutions, government and business entities.\u00a0Restaurants, cafes and hotels abound in the area. The new headquarter\u00a0will offer CEPA the opportunity to be close to all our most relevant institutional and non-institutional stakeholders and will give us the chance to host all our internal and external\u00a0meetings in a brand new location.<\/p>\n<p><strong>CEPA&#8217;s new website<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>As introduced in early December, we are in the process to launch the new CEPA&#8217;s website. CEPA&#8217;s new brand and identity will revamp the interest of\u00a0our\u00a0network\u00a0toward our activities and will profile CEPA as a leading European association. Please find the final version of the website via this link\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/new.cepa-europe.org\/\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?q=http:\/\/new.cepa-europe.org\/&amp;source=gmail&amp;ust=1545498553816000&amp;usg=AFQjCNHDQa3-XINcg9uJry_js7Wz-mMAfg\">http:\/\/new.cepa-europe.org<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The new\u00a0website will be online with the address\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.cepa-europe.org\/\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?q=http:\/\/www.cepa-europe.org\/&amp;source=gmail&amp;ust=1545498553816000&amp;usg=AFQjCNFmfcz4bfbnxo9chHlQEjuB5iIxlw\">http:\/\/www.cepa-europe.org<\/a>\u00a0as of tomorrow closing of\u00a0business\u00a0(21 February 2018).<\/p>\n<p><strong>New capacity for the Secretariat<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In 2019 Darwin Associates will reinforce its communication and public affairs capacity by partnering with a leading Dutch communication agency,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/hague.company\/en\/\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?q=https:\/\/hague.company\/en\/&amp;source=gmail&amp;ust=1545498553816000&amp;usg=AFQjCNFuvq3SUPfWiTrCc04NzOK5lN8L8w\">Hague Corporate Affairs<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Mr. Andrea Boccuni\u00a0and Mr. Aleksandar-Mihail Atanasov\u00a0will become the tandem of CEPA Operational five days a week. Both Andrea and Aleksandar have a proven track record in association management and have been working mainly in areas related to safety, food and chemical substances.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/hague.company\/en\/team\/andrea-boccuni\/\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?q=https:\/\/hague.company\/en\/team\/andrea-boccuni\/&amp;source=gmail&amp;ust=1545498553816000&amp;usg=AFQjCNH22Szder6u4JFK9ErF5yBeKolpoQ\">Andrea Boccuni<\/a>\u00a0\u00a0He is a food safety and health specialist. After a master\u2019s degree on European Governance at the Leiden University, he furthered his studies working as research advisor for a prominent Dutch think-tank, the Montesquieu Institute. He started his career in brussels as Parliamentary Assistant at the European Parliament before joining a leading Dutch public affairs agency. Over more than five years, he developed growing interest and expertise in environmental policies. Building on this knowledge, he moved on to working as external consultant for the European Commission in the Food Frauds Unit.<\/li>\n<li>Aleksandar-Mihail Atanasov is Junior Advisor at Hague Corporate Affairs.
