Global Food Safety Initiative CEO opens door to cooperation with CEPA

In the eve of the General Assembly, CEPA had the privilege to welcome Ms Erica Sheward, Director of the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) during the membership dinner organised in the Brussels Comic Strips Museum. The GFSI is a programme under the Consumer Goods Forum, an international association bringing together consumer goods manufacturers and retailers. Its mission is to bring these companies together in pursuit of business practices for efficiency and positive change across the industry benefiting shoppers, consumers and the world without impeding competition. In practice, its constituency is mainly major brand owners and some of their suppliers as well as major retailers.
